Here’s the truth…….We live in a world where our healthcare system is broken and we mean to fix it one nervous system at a time. The American answer to pain and disfunction and “dis-ease” is to mask the symptoms with drugs and surgery. Never do we look to the cause of pain, disfunction and disease. Instead we look to hide and mask the issues by turning off the pain and cutting out the disease or worse.
These magic pills and surgery come at a cost. The price is high. The opioid epidemic is on the rise and the cost of medical care and insurance is through the roof! Medicine has its place but often it is used when natural and conservative measures will do. It seems that the new normal is side effects. After that, there is a lifetime of drugs to counter act the damage that the original drugs inflicted. All of this seems to be par for the course. In the mean time no one asks the question; “where did the pain come from? “why is there dysfunction in the first place?” Our “health care” has become a “Sick care” system were the only time we seek care from our doctors, is when there is something wrong. This is not the way we were meant to live! God made us better than that!
